"AUSTIN POWERS" DIE-CAST CARS DEBUT UNDER RC2'S

"entertainment vehicle" entries ever released under JoyRide
Studios, a brand of RC2 (NASDAQ: RCRC), three hot die-cast model
cars will be hitting the shelves soon.
Produced under license and based on the popular Austin Powers
movies, two scale-model cars are slated for introduction in October:
the Mini-Cooper from Austin Powers' Goldmember and
the Corvette from Austin Powers' The Spy Who Shagged Me.
They'll be assorted with another Austin Powers replica which the
company released in February-the Shaguar from the Austin
Powers' International Man of Mystery film. Suggested retail
price for each model is $24.99.
The cars are produced in 1:18 scale and are meticulous replicas
of the star-studded originals, complete with opening doors and hoods,
detailed engines and interiors, and an authentic paint scheme that's
straight out of the movies. And according to Dell Torgerson, Managing
Director of JoyRide Studios, they're the real deal.
"Everybody who's seen even one of the Austin Powers movies
is going to want these die-cast models," he said. "They're
faithful to the original, right down to the tiny details, and just
