WHEELED TOYS - With new vehicles in the line-up, John Deere Kids Wheeled Toys continues to cement the company's reputation for building safe, heavy-duty toys that last.

• The blow-molded Plastic Pedal Tractor is the kid-pleasing standout that leads off the category and marks the addition of pedal vehicles to the line. An instant hit with the sandbox set, the tractor is a true-to-life replica of real thing. Like all the vehicles in the line, it's solidly constructed, quality-built-and eye-catching, too, with its authentic John Deere color and graphics. Featuring an easy-to-pedal, high-quality chain drive and full-function steering, it adds a new dimension of fun to the Wheeled Toys category.
• Another hot addition to the category is the Tuff Trike-the first tricycle so rugged it comes with a 10-year/10,000-mile warranty. With its all-steel tubular frame, adjustable handlebar, and pneumatic all-terrain rubber tires, the Tuff Trike comes with quality and durability built in.
• The heavy-duty John Deere Wagon is available in 28" and 36" sizes and features authentic Deere graphics, and sturdy steel construction. The ergonomic handle was designed to be both parent- and kid-friendly!
• In addition to the new items, the Ride-on Gator® has earned Child Magazine's "Best and Brightest" award for 2000. The Gator wins high marks from kids as well with its "rumbling seat" that makes the vehicle shake and vibrate when a child sits on it and shuts off automatically when he stands. Each will include a collector card with an illustration and story about each character.
• They're huggable, squeezable, and roll-able-they're the new John Deere Kids Cushie Characters: 5" vehicles made of soft foam with free-rolling wheels. Kid-pleasing favorite characters will include "Johnny Tractor," "Scotty Skidsteer," "Danny Dozer," and "Corey Combine."

ROLE-PLAY TOYS - As every parent knows, kids love to emulate what the grown-ups are doing, and these small-fry versions of big-folks tools make it easy. Designed to be safe without spoiling the fun, Role-Play toys feature child-friendly designs, with soft power tools that are almost like Dad's being added to the line. New products being added this year are a two soft power tools with easy-pull winding mechanisms-the Power Saw with realistic power saw sound, and the Power Drill that comes complete with board and screws for added play value.
