Celebrating its 10-year anniversary in 2003, Press Pass continues
the tradition of bringing collectors closer to the action with several
exciting programs that will be unveiled during the year, including
a new product, new race-used memorabilia, and several unique contests.
Press Pass 2003 kicked of the 10th Anniversary year, as
the first of seven Press Pass products. This product is also the
first place to find Press Pass Signature Series Memorabilia Cards.
For the first time in it's history, Press Pass is thrilled to offer
collectors a chance to obtain race-used memorabilia autograph cards,
as part of a year-long program featured in all Press Pass brands.
There is a hobby and retail version, both numbered to each driver's
door number featuring such drivers as Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson,
and Ryan Newman. Another addition for Press Pass 2003 is the "Be
The King For A Day Contest" which allows collectors
to enter a drawing to win one of 75 Richard Petty Driving Experience
prizes.
The second product released in 2003 was Wheels High Gear 2003.
It is highlighted by its own unique Wheels Authentic Autograph set,
Flag Chasers race-used flag cards, the Flag Chasers Power Pick Contest,
and new for 2003, rare Custom Shop Autographs.
Shortly after the 2003 NASCAR season got under way, Press Pass
Eclipse 2003 released. In its sophomore year, Eclipse promises
all the fun and excitement it delivered in its debut, featuring
another Press Pass first, Teammate Autographs. These cards
showcase signatures of top NASCAR Winston Cup Teammates, such as
Matt Kenseth and Mark Martin on the same card. This is the first
dual teammate autograph for all of the drivers featured in this
set, and their cards can only be found in Press Pass Eclipse 2003.
Released in early May, Press Pass Premium 2003 is the first
product to feature all the action and new photography from the 2003
NASCAR season, as well as the first product to feature the popular
autograph series, Press Pass Signings.
For the second straight year, Press Pass has an exciting new product
to debut, Wheels American Thunder 2003. As an extension of
the Wheels brand, Wheels American Thunder is both a throwback to
the roots of Wheels racing cards and a super premium product boasting
two memorabilia cards (on average) per hobby box. Collectors will
love the Americana theme that flows throughout the product, as well
as the generous amount of memorabilia to collect that included Pushin'
Pedal (race-used shoes), Cool Threads (race-used shirts), and Heads
Up (driver worn hats from over 35 different NASCAR Winston Cup drivers).
Follow the 2003 NASCAR season from start to finish with the remaining
four 2003 Press Pass releases: Press Pass Trackside, Press Pass
VIP, Press Pass Stealth and Press Pass Optima. The popular autograph
series, Press Pass Signings will be featured throughout all
four releases. In addition, each product will include its own unique
race-used memorabilia program.
In order to give collectors a chance to collect memorabilia cards
of future NWC talent, Press Pass has created Top Prospect,
a unique program that features race-used memorabilia cards from
some of the rising stars of the NASCAR Busch Series. Such up-and-comers
as Brian Vickers and Scott Riggs are featured in this program. There
are four memorabilia cards to collect of each driver: race-used
shoes, race-used gloves, race-used tire, and race-used sheet metal.
These memorabilia cards can be found exclusively in 2003 Press Pass
Trackside, Press Pass Stealth, and Press Pass Optima.
Press Pass brings collectors all of the action from the track in
2003, with autographs and memorabilia from the top drivers. If you
want a piece of the action, you've got to get a Press Pass!
