Features This Years' Elite of NASCAR NEXTEL Cup

July 30, 2004 Charlotte, N.C. - As the NASCAR Winston Cup Season heats up on the track, Press Pass' latest release, VIP 2004, takes the NASCAR heat to a feverish level. VIP captures the stars of yesterday, today and tomorrow with a newly extended 90-card base set which includes Darlington Days, All Time Winners, Legends and Honor Roll subsets.

"VIP offers collectors more cards of the superstars of NASCAR Winston Cup racing by focusing on the most elite drivers in the sport," said Mandy Kirkland, Product Manager for Press Pass, a division of RC2 (NASDAQ: RCRC). "Traditionally, VIP features not only the top NASCAR Winston Cup drivers, but also the legends who are the pioneers of the sport. Additionally, Press Pass VIP returns with a comprehensive roster of NASCAR's elite in Tradin' Paint, the race-used sheet metal insert along with highly sought after Signature Series autographed memorabilia cards."

Press Pass Signings, an impressive autograph card line-up of NASCAR's greatest, continues in VIP. Collectors can expect to find autographs of top drivers such as Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Ryan Newman, and Jimmie Johnson. Press Pass Signings are available in three versions: Silver Signings found in both hobby and retail, plastic TRANS Signings numbered to 100 (hobby and retail), and Gold Signings, hobby only and numbered to 50.

Continuing in Press Pass VIP 2004 is the Year-Long Total Memorabilia Program offering collectors Triple Burner (hobby only) and Double Burner (retail only) multi-piece memorabilia cards featuring race-used memorabilia from Earnhardt Jr., Gordon, Stewart, and all the other superstars of NASCAR. The Dale Earnhardt Gallery also continues in VIP with the "Sunday Money" insert installment.

VIP brings you the most sought after inserts with parallel versions including Driver's Choice, featuring holofoil cards with gold foil stamping (1:10 packs) and diecut parallel (1:40); Lap Leader, a special gold foil stamped multi-level embossed insert (1:8), plastic parallel (1:20); Head Gear®, an all-foil multi-level embossed insert (1:5 packs) and plastic parallel (1:18); Also featured is Making the Show (1:2), a die-cut set-within-a-set. Dale Earnhardt Gallery "Sunday Money" Edition featuring unique artist-touched photography of the Legend with entertaining quotes on Earnhardt's dominance on the track (1:72), with a special hobby-only version foil stamped in gold and sequentially numbered to 200. Product release is scheduled for July 22.
